Regional training meetings are scheduled for test coordinators for the Augmented Benchmark, SAT10 at Grades 1-2 and Grade 9, MAT8 at Kindergarten, Grade 11 Literacy, End-of-Course, Algebra II Exams, and ELDA. THE SUPERINTENDENT, DISTRICT TEST COORDINATOR, PRINCIPAL, OR A DESIGNEE IS REQUIRED BY REGULATION TO ATTEND THE ALL-DAY SESSION [Rules Governing the Arkansas Comprehensive Testing, Assessment and Accountability Program (ACTAAP) 5.05.1 and 5.05.2]. District Test Coordinators must hold a current license from the Arkansas Department of Education. Please see the attached schedule to attend the meeting that is most convenient. IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, PLAN TO ATTEND THE NEXT AVAILABLE SCHEDULED WORKSHOP.

MID-YEAR TRAINING is scheduled on Wednesday, December 2,2009,at the Arkansas Highway Department,10324 Interstate 30,Little Rock,AR 72209,501-569-2000. REGISTRATION begins at 9:30 a.m. and TRAINING will begin at 10:00 a.m. A sign in the lobby will direct participants to the auditorium.

TRAINING for SPRING TEST ADMINISTRATION will take place the week of February 1-5,2010,and the week of February 9-12, 2010. REGISTRATION begins at 8:00 a.m. The TRAINING will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Any district or charter school failing to attend this required training in whole or part will be monitored by the Arkansas Department of Education ADE)throughout the testing period.

Any and all district personnel involved with testing must be trained at the local level to understand and follow all testing and security requirements for the examinations. The ADE will investigate any testing irregularity or breach of security in any administration of the Augmented Benchmark, SAT10, MAT8, Grade 11 Literacy, End-of-Course, Algebra II Exams, and ELDA. Additionally, the Standards of Professional Conduct as outlined in the Rules Governing the Code of Ethics for Arkansas Educators include the requirement to keep in confidence secure test materials. Testing violations or breaches of security may be referred to the Professional Licensure Standards Board for investigation.
