The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) and the Arkansas Art Education Association are jointly sponsoring the 26th Portfolio Day Review. Teachers and students are invited to attend.
The purpose of the review is to bring together highly interested and talented art students with representatives of different universities and art schools. The representatives will review the portfolios individually and are encouraged to give informal critiques of the student's work. Students will also be furnished scholarship information and literature about each school. Please inform students to limit the number of pieces of art work to six.
Portfolio Day will be held Saturday, November 14, 2009, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Parkview High School in Little Rock. Parkview High School is located at 2501 John Barrow Road, Little Rock, Arkansas. Secondary students, parents, and teachers should attend from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
