Pursuant to Act 2131 of 2005, amended by Acts 54 and 829 of 2007, codified at Ark. Code Ann. § 6-15-202, each Arkansas school district superintendent and each chief academic officer of an open-enrollment charter school shall by October 15th of each school year give written assurance of school district or charter school compliance with Arkansas law by providing personal signature on the Statement of Assurance form developed by the Department and attached to this memo. This written assurance shall be received or postmarked and mailed to the Department of Education by October 15th of each school year.
