Acts 937, 1207, 1473, 1479 of 2009 amend the Ark. Codes Ann. pertaining to the following programs. The laws determine the responsibilities of the Commission for Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation and establish their authority to administer the programs. The programs are: (1) Bus Specifications, (2) Operations and Maintenance of School Buses and Drivers Physicals, (3) Bonded Debt, (4) Master Plan, (5) Appeals Program, (6) School Inspection Program, (7) Facility Distress, (8) Self Construction Program
Rule amendments promulgated by these Acts have been approved by the Commission for Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation and are posted on the Division website: http;//arkansasfacilities.arkansas.gov.
School districts are encouraged to review the rules and provide comments during the open comment period which has been established.
