The Central Arkansas Library System and the City of Little Rock’s Racial and Cultural Diversity Commission (RCDC) are sponsoring the 2009-2010 “Testimony to Tolerance” Art and Writing Contest. The goal of the contest is to empower students to critically examine behaviors and biases and to inspire a dialogue that promotes tolerance and diversity in schools and communities.
Awardees will receive $400 for 1st place, $250 for 2nd place, and $100 for 3rd place in both the middle school and high school divisions. Completed applications and entries must be submitted by Friday, December 18, 2009.
