The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) will host the 2010 Educators Career Fair from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 1, 2010. at the Metroplex/Team Summit Event Center located at 10800 Colonel Glenn Road in Little Rock.
The Educators Career Fair is designed to assist licensed teachers wanting to add an area of licensure or to earn an advanced degree as well as to facilitate school districts in the recruitment of licensed teachers and administrators for hard-to-staff vacancies. This event is for licensed teachers and administrators or new graduates who will be licensed by August 2010. Licensed educators from in- and out-of-state are invited to attend. College and university education preparation programs and ADE programs will also be in attendance to provide information regarding advancement of careers in education.
Superintendents, education service cooperative directors, principals and school district hiring personnel are encouraged to register as exhibitors. Participating exhibitors will be provided with individual booth space to display information and to meet with prospective teachers and administrators.
Registration is free but should be done early as booth space is limited. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis and will include a mid-morning snack for two booth staffers.
