A Distance Learning Workshop to discuss the Institute of Medicine’ (IOM) Recommendations to the Meal Pattern, Menu Planning Principles, Introduction to Revised Child Nutrition Web page, and an update from Commodity will be presented on from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m, Thursday, April 1, 2010 . This three-hour workshop will address ways to implement the IOM recommendations into menu planning for the 2010-2011 school year. District personnel responsible for menu planning are encouraged to attend this three-hour training.
