The Arkansas Environmental Education Association will host the 2010 Environmental Education (EE) Expo, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at the Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. The theme of this year's EE Expo is 'Environmental Education: A Natural Fit for Arkansas.'

The target audience includes state and federal environmental organizations, educators, students, and professionals. The EE Expo is designed to provide opportunities to network and learn from others who are involved in conducting environmental programs and projects here in 'The Natural State.' The EE Expo will include keynote speakers, presentations, workshop sessions with hands-on activities, exhibit booths, resource tables, and a silent auction. Come join us for a fun and educational event.

Individuals interested in being a presenter, conducting a workshop, an exhibitor at the EE Expo, or becoming a sponsor for the event, please visit http://www.arkansasee.org/content/expo-and-ee-fest. Additional information and forms are available on the AEEA Web site.

Early Bird Registration through June 30, 2010, is $45 for AEEA members and $60 for non-members. To register for this event, complete the attached registration form and submit with a check payable to AEEA. On-site registration is $65 for AEEA members and for $80 non-members. Registration fee includes: awards luncheon, workshop sessions, and six hours of Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) approved professional development.

Please use the attached flyer to inform teachers about the opportunities to attend the EE Expo. It may be posted in common areas such as teachers' break rooms and/or copied and distributed throughout the district via Web site, newsletter and/or bulletin board.
