Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 25-15-201 et seq., notice is hereby given that the Arkansas State Board of Education (ASBE) and the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) is considering Proposed Rules for Closing the Achievement Gap.

The proposed rules provide for interventions and support to public school districts to address the severity of achievement gaps.

The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, in the Auditorium of the ADE at Four Capitol Mall, Little Rock, AR 72201 at 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
