2009 Preliminary Millage Election Report

The preliminary 2009 Millage Report is attached. Taxes based on 2009 millage rates are collectible in 2010. County clerks provided the source documents to support the data presented in this preliminary report. Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. 6-14-115(c), the county clerk of the county in which the school district is administered is required to submit a certified copy of the certification of election and a copy of the ballot to the Commissioner of Education.

This preliminary report shows millage rates that resulted from millage elections held during 2009. Also, the millage rates have not been adjusted for rollback provisions. Because this report is preliminary and contains election data provided directly from the county clerks, each school district is asked to compare the data against district records and report any discrepancies to the Financial Accountability & Reporting office at the phone number shown below.

Two school districts that consolidated or annexed under Act 60 of the Second Extraordinary Session of 2003 have not voted a unified millage rate. The millage rates of the former districts are listed separately in this report.
