On June 17, 2010, the Arkansas Office of Coordinated School Health (CSH) and the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) will host a Physical Education Symposium for all Physical Education (PE)/Health teachers and coaches. Sessions are divided into an elementary tract and a high school tract.
Presentations will be presented by Dr. Blair Dean of Arkansas State University, Dr. Tim Baghurst of Henderson State University and Anthony Lucas, former Arkansas Razorback and now facility coordinator at D1 Sports of Little Rock.
The PE/Health Symposium will be held at Bauxite High School, 800 School Street, Bauxite, AR, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with registration beginning at 7:30 a.m. The cost will be $20.00 with lunch provided. Space is limited to the first 100 applicants.
