The State Board of Education (SBE) at the April 12, 2009, meeting, approved the Rules Governing Initial, Standard/Professional and Provisional Teacher Licensure and the Rules Governing Initial and Standard/Professional Administrator and Administrator-Arkansas Correctional School Licensure to go out for a second round of public comments.
Written public comment on the rules will be accepted in the Office of Professional Licensure from Friday, April 23, 2010, through Tuesday, May 25, 2010.
A public hearing will be held at 1 p.m. May 18, 2010, for the Rules Governing Initial and Standard/Professional Administrator and Administrator Arkansas Correctional School Licensure and at 2 p.m. for the Rules Governing Initial and Standard/Professional and Provisional Teacher Licensure in the Auditorium of the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), which is located at Four Capitol Mall in Little Rock.
