The Arkansas Department of Education's Professional Licensure Unit has recently upgraded the security of its licensure database (APLS) per the recommendation of Department of Information Services (DIS).
When accessing licensure information through the Department of Education Web site at http://arkansased.org, please click on Educators, Educator Licensure, then scroll to Arkansas Licensure Database and click on the web address listed.
When the screen comes up with the display “There is a problem with this website’s security certificate”, just click on “Continue to this website (not recommended)” and continue with your search.
