Beginning with its 2005 award of a Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) grant from the Department of Education's Institute of Educational Sciences, the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) has deployed new data systems to support improvements in teaching, learning, and student performance in the state.
ADE has asked Metis Associates to help them learn how educators are actually using the data that are available in schools. To that end, we are requesting that all teachers and administrators complete a survey to learn about your experiences with data systems that are currently deployed, and how you use such data.
Teachers, please complete the survey by following this link: http://devserv.metisassoc.com/FS/fs-LDSTeacher.aspx
Administrators, please complete the survey by following this link: http://devserv.metisassoc.com/FS/fs-LDSAdministrator.aspx
Please complete this survey as fully and candidly as possible by May 21, 2010. Your individual responses will be kept strictly confidential and will only be reported in aggregate in an attempt to provide useful information to ADE. We thank you in advance for your patience and the time you spend in completing this survey.
If you have any questions or concerns about this survey please contact Lori Ramsey at 614-235-0063 or Lramsey@metisassoc.com
