Under the accountability provisions in the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act, all public school campuses, school districts, and the state are evaluated for Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP), and the Arkansas Department of Education will host a CIV training to provide technical assistance to all schools and districts.
In order to ensure that we have greater participation and to ensure that we have appropriately notified each school district about the CIV training for Adequate Yearly Progress, we will reschedule this training for Thursday, June 17, 2010, and cancel the training for June 10, 2010. The training will begin promptly at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday June 17, 2010. All schools are encouraged to attend.
