The Rules and Regulations Governing Public School End-of-Course Assessments and Remediation require that school districts provide written notice to parents or guardians if a student fails to achieve Pass on the High-Stakes End-of-Course Algebra I Exam. This Commissioner’s Memo is to remind school districts that parents or guardians shall be provided written notice within fifteen business days of the receipt of the paper copies of results for students in grade 9 or below who did not pass.
