In order to create a pool of approved vendors for school turnaround services, the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) is accepting on-line applications for the positions of School Turnaround External Providers, School Improvement Directors (SID) and School Improvement Specialists (SIS). The SID and SIS are positions required under Smart Accountability. The ADE is creating these pools in order to provide districts with lists of companies/organizations and individuals who are capable of providing these services.
Companies/organizations and individuals interested in being considered by districts to provide these services should complete the application at the link below:

If districts wish to engage organizations and/or individuals not included on the lists, the district shall first direct the organization and/or individual to complete the on-line application. All applications will be reviewed by the ADE to ensure that the proposed providers are capable of assisting districts with school turnaround needs and have the qualifications and backgrounds necessary to effectively provide these services.
Companies/organizations and individuals that pass the selection process will have their names and contact information posted on the ADE website. Districts shall access this information when seeking to secure these services.
The ADE does not endorse any of the companies or individuals on the lists; but simply confirms that they have successfully passed the screening process.
