The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) will no longer send out (during the first quarter of the year) reminder letters to administrators indicating which teachers and administrators in their district hold certificates that will expire during that year. This procedure has been eliminiated due to a recent restructuring of the Professional Licensure office. Teachers and administrators will be responsible for renewal of their own certificates.
