"Early Literacy and Reading Recovery: Linking Theory, Research, and Practice," a two-day conference co-sponsored by the Arkansas Department of Education, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and the Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators will be held at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock on March 4-5, 1999. The program, including nationally recognized speakers, seminars, study groups, and a wide range of small group sessions, will focus on design and implementation of comprehensive, effective early literacy programs.
Conference registration fee is $115.00 per person which includes lunch, refreshments and materials. The deadline for registration is Friday, February 19, 1999. Advance registration is required to ensure participation. On-site registration will be accepted on a space available basis. Due to the bookkeeping process, regretfully, purchase orders cannot be accepted. A full refund, less a $20 processing fee, will be granted if written request is received on or before Friday, February 19. Refunds will not be given after the conference begins.
