The Office of Special Education Programs, U.S. Department of Education, has announced that it will conduct two (2) teleconferences for the purpose of discussing the final regulations for the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Amendments of 1997. The teleconferences will be held on March 3, 1999 and March 10, 1999. Judy Heuman, Assistant Secretary for the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services and Dr. Tom Hehir, Director, Office of Special Education Programs, will be the featured speakers.
