A review of the utilization report of the Department of Education Web site indicates that many schools are not accessing the information provided through the Director's Communications (Director's Memos). For school personnel to be fully informed and to have complete information about Department policy, events and activities , it is imperative that each school monitor this site on a regular (at least weekly) basis to access new information. The Web site is the only place where official communication and information are published and remain available over time.
Since September, when the Department began electronic transfer of information, a number of refinements have been made in direct response to suggestions from local schools. We will continue to respond to your suggestions for improvement.
