The purpose of this communication is to inform you of an in-service training required for NEW program managers and all TEACHERS NEW to the College Preparatory Enrichment Program (CPEP). This training will be conducted at the North Little Rock Riverfront Hilton on Tuesday, May 11, 1999, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at 3:00 p.m. The morning session will be an overview of the program conducted by Falba Turner, American College Test (ACT) representative. The afternoon session will be content specific, including sessions for language arts, mathematics, reading, and program managers. Lunch will be provided.
THOSE PERSONS WHO HAVE PARTICIPATED IN CPEP TRAINING IN THE PAST SHOULD NOT ATTEND THIS MEETING.
Please complete the enclosed registration form and return it to the Student Assessment Office. IT IS NECESSARY THAT THE FORM BE COMPLETED AND RETURNED, REGARDLESS IF YOU HAVE IN-SERVICE PARTICIPANTS OR NOT, BY FRIDAY, APRIL 23, 1999.
Please read carefully the ACT Test Administration Policies for the ACT Assessment and the ACT Assessment Standard Testing Requirements before completing the enclosed forms. Please note the "ACT ASSESSMENT TEST CENTER SUPERVISOR'S PROFILE" and the "PROJECT TEST CENTER REQUEST FORM" are included. Both forms should be completed and returned by MONDAY, MAY 3, 1999, to:

A project ACT Test will be administered free to CPEP participants on July 17, 1999. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT STUDENTS ARE AWARE THAT THIS IS THE ONLY TEST DATE THE FREE TEST WILL BE OFFERED. PARTICIPANTS SHOULD NOT OBLIGATE THEMSELVES TO THE PROGRAM IF THEY WILL BE UNABLE TO TAKE THE ACT ON THE SCHEDULED DATE.
