Be Safe, Be Smart is the theme for the 1999 Child Safety Poster Contest. The Arkansas Missing Children Services Program (AMCSP) of the Office of the Attorney General and Southwestern Bell are sponsors of the contest. The purpose of the competition is to teach children important safety concepts in a non-threatening way to keep them from becoming victims of child abduction. The contest is divided into three (3) grade divisions: Grades K-2; Grades 3-4; and Grades 5-6.
Contest entries must be postmarked by May 1, 1999. Please find attached a contest entry form, contest guidelines, and a sheet of safety tips to help students generate ideas.
