Because there have been almost no student applications submitted for this year's Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship Program, we are extending the deadline two weeks to April 30, 1999. Attached to this memo is a copy of the original Director's Memo which was sent to school districts on March 23, 1999. Please follow the directions on that memo to assist us in getting this information to students. This scholarship program is a $1,500 renewable award and is granted to students on a competitive application basis. Thank you for your assistance.
