With the enactment of Act 947 of 1999, one of the requirements for attending a nonresident district was expanded to include the children or wards of school district and cooperative employees. Effective July 30, 1999, all fulltime employees of school districts and cooperatives employed in a district other than their resident district may enroll their children in their resident district, the district where they are employed or any district located in the county where the cooperative main office is located.
