This is to notify you that the Arkansas Department of Education has received its grant award for school year 1999-2000 under Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act Amendments of 1997. Each district will receive $579 per child, an $82 increase from last year's amount of $497 per child. For those districts that have already submitted their Consolidated Budget Application, these additional funds will be placed in reserve. For those districts which have not submitted their Consolidated Budget Application, you may increase your budget by multiplying $579 times the December 1, 1998, child count.
