The Arkansas Department of Education, Special Education Unit, Transition Staff is pleased to announce a new transition training opportunity. The Life Centered Career Education Curriculum (LCCE) training has been offered statewide for four years. Now the Modified version of the LCCE Curriculum is available for purchase and the Transition staff has planned statewide training. The LCCE-M Curriculum will be beneficial to teachers desiring assistance with transition planning for students with moderate disabilities.
Regional training is planned. This training will be beneficial to LEA Supervisors, special educators (teachers of students 14 and up), general educators (teachers of students 14 and up), principals, paraprofessionals, etc. Training will begin each day at 8:30 AM and conclude at 12 Noon at each site. Information on training dates and locations can be found in the attachment below.
These training are provided to school districts at no charge. Registration is limited to 50 people per site; therefore, reservations will be on a first come, first serve basis. The attached registration form must be received no later than November 1, 1999, to:
