The purpose of this memorandum is to inform local school districts of the guidelines that have been established and approved by the State Board of Education Governing Financial Incentives For National Board For Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS). These regulations are enacted pursuant to the State Board of Education's authority under Act 58 of 1999.
