The purpose of this memorandum is to provide you with information regarding the satellite downlink of a conference sponsored by the National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE). The teleconference, "Monitoring the Effectiveness of Behaviorial Support Plans: A Practical Guide," will be broadcast on November 3, 1999, from 12:00 Noon until 1:30 CST.
The teleconference will provide current information on monitoring the effectiveness of behavioral support plans so that support plans can be appropriately modified based on changes in student behavior. Supporting materials for this teleconference will be mailed to special education LEA Supervisors and Behavior Intervention Consultants (BICs) only.
Attached to this memorandum is the technical information for downlinking the broadcast, as well as, information about the presenters. There is no fee for accessing this teleconference. If you do not have the equipment to access this teleconference, it will be downlinked at the education cooperatives where BICs are housed. The BICs will serve as facilitators for the conference at these locations.
