The Arkansas Department of Education will hold a public hearing on the proposed Rules and Regulations for Act 1382 of 1999, A.C.A. §6-15-1004 Governing Waivers for Substitute Teachers that was approved by the State Board of Education for public comment at its November 8, 1999 meeting.
The public hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 15, 1999 at 2:00 P.M., Auditorium of the Arch Ford Education Building, #4 State Capitol Mall, Little Rock, Arkansas.
If a person plans to submit any wording changes at the public hearing, we request these comments be presented in writing at that time. Written comments regarding the proposed Rules and Regulations will be accepted until Monday, December 20, 1999. Please refer to the attached initial draft copy of the Proposed Rules and Regulations Governing Substitute Teachers.
