The purpose of this memorandum is to provide you with a copy of Proposed Revisions to the Rules and Regulations to Implement the Appropriation for Special Education Catastrophic Occurrences and to provide notice of the public hearing on these proposed revisions. These revisions to the regulations were adopted as emergency rules and regulations on May 10, 1999 by the State Board of Education in order to distribute funds during the 1998-99 school year. The Public Hearing is scheduled for:
