The Eleventh Annual Conference on Middle Level Education in Arkansas will be co-sponsored by the Arkansas Department of Education and the Arkansas Association of Middle Level Education (AAMLE). The Department of Education provides technical assistance to Arkansas public schools that are interested in educational reform that supports the Arkansas Comprehensive Testing, Assessment and Accountability Program, and increases student performance. The conference will be held at the Hot Springs Civic and Convention Center, in Hot Springs, Arkansas on April 16-18.
The concurrent sessions will represent best practices for classroom instruction in Grades 5-8. Some sessions will address administrator needs for making middle level schools successful. A special three-hour Discipline Workshop is also available on Sunday and Monday evenings.
