The State Board of Education approved revisions to the Standards for Accreditation Arkansas Public Schools, Revised May 1993 at its meeting January 10, 2000. The revisions to the Standards reflect current law, rules and regulations and State Board of Education actions. Please note Standard IV. C. for course offerings grades 9-12. Any course implemented which is not one of the 38 required by the Standards for Accreditation must be approved by the Arkansas Department of Education. All existing courses must be based on the State Curriculum Frameworks.
