The instructions and forms for completing the 1999-2000 school year reports for children with disabilities exiting the educational system and the changes in placement of children with disabilities to a less restrictive environment are attached. This information, along with the data provided on the December 1, 1999, child count, will enable the Arkansas Department of Education, Special Education to compile the required state reports that must be submitted to the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), U.S. Department of Education.
Completed reports are due June 16, 2000, and should be mailed to:

NOTE: There will be no electronic transmission of this report for the 1999-2000 school year. Each report will be submitted on paper forms. The Special Education Data System previously used to collect this information is unavailable. The system is being redesigned to run on the Arkansas Public School Computer Network and should be in place for the 2000-2001 school year.
