The Arkansas Department of Education, Special Education Unit, Transition Staff, is pleased to announce regional transition training during the summer of 2000. Five (5) separate training opportunities will be available. The training opportunities focused on Transition are: 1) basic transition training, "Transition From School to Adult Life For Students With Disabilities"; 2) the Referral/Linkage Process training; 3) the transition curriculum "Life Centered Career Education Curriculum"; 4) the transition curriculum "Life Centered Career Education Modified Curriculum; and 5) a self-determination training, "Next S.T.E.P."
There are five separate registration forms attached to this memo:
Attachment A - Registration for the "Transition From School to Adult Life For Students With Disabilities" workshops;
Attachment B - Registration for the "Referral/Linkage Process";
Attachment C - Registration for the "Life Center Career Education Curriculum" workshops;
Attachment D - Registration for the "Life Centered Career Education Modified Curriculum"; and
Attachment E - Registration for the "Next S.T.E.P" workshops.
