The Department of Education announces allocations and a revised application package for districts/cooperatives pursuant to the 70% Base Grant Funds of the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act. Please review the revised application format and note that a full proposal with all previously required components is not necessary for applications that propose to continue activities approved in the 2000-2001 grant. Applicants may decide to submit amendments or revisions to the previously approved award or submit a new proposal. Please refer to the attachment for a description of each of these options.
Note that the application deadline is November 2, 2001.
