In response to calls concerning reductions in many programs in the Public School fund budget, the Arkansas Department of Education is providing a schedule that compares the FY 2002 budget to the FY 2003 budget. This file is an Excel Spreadsheet and should open on all current personal computers containing that program.
The FY 2003 budget for the Public School Fund reflects an overall increase of $66.5 million over the FY 2002 budget. However, even with that increase, several programs were reduced or eliminated to submit a budget balanced with the available funding.
