Act 603 of 2003 requires public schools to create a parental involvement plan. The school’s Parental Involvement Plan shall become a part of the school’s Arkansas Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (ACSIP). A copy of Act 603 of 2003 and the Guidelines are attached and will become effective September 1, 2003. The Arkansas Department of Education will work with legislative audit to define the process for the documentation of existing Parental Involvement programs.
