The 2004 Poverty Index Funds distribution has been recalculated due to data corrections. The attachment shows the revised Poverty Index Funds distribution.
Previously approved plans based on the distribution amounts in Directors Memo FIN-03-027 must be accomplished to the extent financially possible. Districts that have been added are asked to complete a Planning Form by Dr. Dave Westmoreland. This form should be submitted by September 2, 2003.
The School Improvement and Instructional Support Unit of the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) will assist school personnel in the development of their Plan, upon request. The School Improvement Unit will review the school plans and make recommendations regarding plan efficacy to the Public School Finance Section (Section 4.0)
