Attached is a copy of the distance learning equipment grant application for the 2004-2005 school year. The applications must be submitted by October 1, 2004. Applications should be submitted through an education service cooperative. However, in certain circumstances the application may be submitted by a consortium of school districts.
This application was prepared specifically to distribute funds appropriated through Acts 34 and 96 of the Second Extraordinary Session of the 84th General Assembly. A rule was approved June 14, 2004, by the State Board of Education regarding the distribution of the available funds. A copy of the rule is available on the Department’s Website under Rules and Regulations and is entitled Arkansas Department of Education Rules Governing Grants for Distance Learning.
