The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) Office of Teacher Quality is hosting the Beginning Administrator Induction Fall follow-up meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 1 and 2, 2009. This meeting, to be held at the Airport Holiday Inn in Little Rock, is for Beginning Administrators who attended an Induction meeting in July or September 2009. Beginning Administrators are to register for either day (December 1st or 2nd) and attend only one (1) of the two days. Mentors are encouraged, but not required, to attend this follow-up meeting.
School districts must assure that each Beginning Building Level Administrator and each Beginning Curriculum/Program Administrator participates in all Induction activities (three meetings per year). Beginning Administrators are employed under an Additional Licensure Completion Plan (ALCP), or an Initial Administrator License or a Standard Administrator License with less than one-year of administrator experience. Administrators on an ALCP must participate in all trainings and follow-up meetings during each year the ALCP is active.
