Previous Director’s Memos have been published concerning the ACTAAP Model Scoring System and the Grade Inflation Study Report (See DIR-02-022 dated 01/16/2002; DIR-02-024 dated 02/04/2002; DIR-02-025 dated 02/07/2002).
This prior correspondence contained information on accessing the technical manuals associated with each topic and announced a video teleconference on February 13, 2002 to provide further clarification and to answer questions.
This memorandum contains summary reports of the technical manuals for those interested in a more concise, less formal explanation. Copies of these summaries, along with the original manuals, can also be found on the Department of Education Web site http://arkedu.state.ar.us posted under “What’s New?”
