Beginning with the 20032004 academic year, the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) Distance Learning Center (DLC) will attempt to offer classes at no charge to those schools needing courses in order to meet one or more of the following criteria:
Teacher Availability Dilemma by delivering quality distance learning courses to areas of Arkansas where teacher availability is limited.

Curriculum Enrichment and Enhancement by offering Web-based resources, elective courses and Advanced Placement classes.
Professional Development and Instructional Support by using technology and Web-based resources for training and guidance in integrating technology into the classroom.
ADE DLC classes are scheduled in fifty (50) minute periods. Currently, there are spaces available in the areas of PreCalculus, Calculus, Physics, AP History, Algebra I, Algebra II, English 9, English 11, French I, and Spanish III.
