The State Board of Education at the June 9, 2003 regular meeting voted to send out for public comment three proposed new rules and regulations to implement the Omnibus Quality Education Act and a proposed new rule and regulation to implement the Public School Choice Act 1272 of 2003. Five current rules and regulations related to these issues are proposed to be repealed.
On June 26, 2003, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., the Arkansas Department of Education will be conducting a video conference by Distance Learning to explain the Omnibus Quality Education Act proposed rules and regulations and the Public School Choice Act 1272 of 2003.
